WAC Team
The commitment of the staff and leadership at Wilmore Anglican Church is at the heart of what makes us a living, thriving church. They are dedicated to serving the community and strengthening the impact of our church on people’s lives.

Rick Durrance
Rector
Rick is the immensely grateful and equally proud husband of Christy and father of Katy, Will, David and Jeffrey! Born and raised in Lake Placid, FL, Rick has spent his adult life also calling Kentucky and Southern California "home", while additionally enjoying short (four year stays) in Oklahoma and Western North Carolina. A graduate of Asbury Seminary (1994) and Fuller Seminary (2007), Rick is a true theological mutt - having also served the United Methodist Church and the Evangelical Free Church for more than 25 years combined. Rick "walked the Canterbury Trail" to Anglicanism over the past decade, and was formally Confirmed Anglican in 2019, and ordained Deacon in 2020, and finally as Priest in 2021 (all in the ACNA). Now living in Wilmore for a second time (he previously served Wilmore as a youth pastor in the 90's), Rick's serving as Rector at Wilmore Anglican has been a "coming home" in so many ways: relational, vocational and theological!
