Avenues Of Prayer

The Daily Office:

Mornings - 7:15a (330 E. Main St.)

Evenings - 5:15p (330 E. Main St.)

Compline - 9:15p (online only through our facebook page)

This avenue of WAC Prayer Ministry offers the church family, and others who want to join, opportunity for gathered prayer, bible reading, and intercession on a daily basis.  All interested in participating in this ministry are invited to come.

If leading one of these prayer times is something you're interested in, please contact Jo Lisa. When approved, she/he would sign up to lead morning, evening or compline prayer, as printed in the ACNA Book of Common Prayer, at designated times and locations (Sanctuary 330 E. Main St, Wilmore and Online).

Sunday during Eucharist:

These (three person) teams minister through prayer to people during Communion. This ministry is vitally important as we prayerfully bring people to Jesus, as a trained team, respecting confidences with integrity, ministering the love of God with humility deeply trusting in the goodness of God.

Prayers of the People:

Sundays during services, this important guided prayer time gives us opportunity to pray as a body for the needs of the world, for church and civic leadership, for nations, our community, and individuals.  We follow the Prayers of the People formats in the ACNA BCP.

Salvation Intercession:

The second Thursday of every month, at 9:00a, at Sanctuary all are invited to come and intercede for the salvation of loved ones.  This small group prayer time begins with listening to God in stillness and silence, followed by scripture meditation; and then spoken intercession. Prayers are held in confidence.  The process (as defined below) must be completed to lead this small group prayer.
